Dope Focus was created in January 2023 as a platform that focuses on the Artist so the artist can focus on their creations. Currently in the art industry, majority of galleries focus on the profit they make from exhibiting and selling the creations of their artists. Here, we focus on ways to support the artists we sign by providing a way to exhibit their abilities and help them grow in their careers. We believe the more support an artist has, the more they’ll believe in themselves and their creations will continue to amaze the world!

At Dope Focus, we are committed to empowering self-taught artists from the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area by providing comprehensive developmental support, enhancing visibility, and cultivating opportunities. Our platform strives to bridge the gap between emerging artists and the art community, fostering creativity and innovation. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we aim to create a vibrant ecosystem where emerging artists can thrive, evolve, and continue to create incredible works of art!

We showcase a wide variety of art, including digital, abstract, photography, mixed medía and more!
The space is designed for self-service, aligning with our efforts to modernize gallery exhibits. Each piece has a QR code linking to a checkout page for payment. Once the purchase is complete, you are able to remove the piece directly off of the wall!
Each piece is individually hung on gentle hooks with a small temporary adhesive on the bottoms that hold the pieces in place. Gently lift up the piece and remove from the hook after payment is complete!
Our pricing is determined by taking the artists determined value for each piece and adding a percentage the artist agrees to on top. We support artists having more control of their worth!
Artists submit their works to our platform for business assistance following their creation. A portion of these submissions undergo consideration for inclusion within the physical gallery space at Building Momentum, while the remaining pieces are allocated for future exhibitions and online display on our gallery shop website!
