“HI! My name is Tee Whitworth (aka TeeZus). I am a non-binary, queer person, born and raised in North Carolina and a UNC Chapel Hill Alumni. I currently work full time as a government contractor and I’m a reservist in the US Navy. I started wood burning as a hobby during the COVID shutdown As a way to keep myself occupied and use my time constructively. I learned primarily through trial and error and online research when I first started off, and have slowly refined my skills to suit my style and interests. A lot of my projects have been inspired by Japanese anime from shows that I love, and I work on occasional projects outside of that category and theme for personalized projects. It is something that I enjoy doing to express myself and gives me the opportunity to share with others.”
